Toronto viewers just heard the new movie reveal at the Midnight Madness premiere of Pearl that there will be a third instalment of A24 real quick. Director Ti West, on September 12th, broke this news to the public. The franchise has been a cult favourite for everyone. It has been decided to be called “MaXXXIne”.
Although the shooting has not yet started, the outer projects are winding up very quickly, so it seems like there will be a real quick start to this movie. Actress Mia Goth will now return in one of the two roles she played in X. It appears to follow Maxine (Goth) as the sole survivor of the events of X as she continues her path to fame as an actress in 1980s Los Angeles. It all stems from X, which introduced Goth as a survivor of a porno movie gone wrong when their hosts in rural Texas discover what they’re doing and the actors and crew are forced to battle her quick temper and a deadly ambition on their way to being a memorable murderess, played by Goth again.
Fans are going insane at the prospect of the new ‘X’ element that has been hinted at.
