New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on January 8, 2020) follows:
So a couple of minutes back, while searching for some Android-related stuff, Himanshu from our team noticed a weird Twitter glitch wherein he found search stuck on results from an hour back irrespective of the search query.
That’s when he asked others from the team if Twitter is behaving in a similar manner for them. And irrespective of the platforms – Android/iOS we all ended up nodding our heading saying, you are correct mate.
So yes, the Twitter search isn’t working right now on both app and web, and all you get to see is an hour old search results. Following are a couple of screenshots taken from iOS (left) and Android (right) reflecting what we get in the latest section on searching for “Android”:
The same is the case with the web version of the service.
Now don’t tell me a platform that’s updated with countless tweets every second, hasn’t got anything new to show. Are you also facing this issue? Drop a comment and let us know.
