Incoming is a service outage alert!

Is Twitch down, not working or throwing error 2000? Please be informed that the service is going through an outage due to scheduled maintenance which has got affected users to route to micro-blogging site Twitter and other online discussion platforms to highlight their concern. Take a look at what some of those affected have to say:

Coming to whether there’s an official word on the matter, well, as it’s a planned maintenance, Twitch support already informed beforehand about it:

03:56 pm (IST): Fresh reports on Twitter, as well as Downdetector, suggest that Twitch is down and not working for many. This outage could be linked to the recent breach where the entire codebase of Twitch was leaked.

Update 3 (September 14, 2022)

04:22 pm (IST): Many users have taken to Twitter (1, 2) to report that Twitch is currently down or not working for them.

06:30 pm (IST): Twitch support has acknowledged the recent outage with their service and said that they are working to resolve it.

Update 4 (September 15, 2022)

07:25 pm (IST): Twitch support has confirmed that the recent issue with their service has now been resolved.
