TalkTalk service is in midst of an outage of sorts as a lot of users are reporting the service is currently down for them. Complainants are taking to social media platforms like Twitter to voice their concerns.

Even the Down Detector service currently shows intermittent issues in the UK region.
What’s good is that TalkTalk has officially acknowledged the issue. Their service status dashboard explains the glitch saying:

Update 1 (June 14, 2019)
Company says customers who have talktalk.net emails are affected by the outage.
Update 2 (June 14, 2019)
The status message on the service dashboard has been changed, and now it reads:
Latest Update 11:35 AM: We’d like to apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure you that our engineers are working on this as a priority.
Update 2 (June 15, 2019)
The outage has been fixed. The following message was shared by the company at 10:45PM UK time:
Update 3 (August 23, 2022)
04:03 pm (IST): Many TalkTalk users are now reporting (1, 2) that they aren’t able to send or receive emails using the service.
Luckily, the support team has acknowledged this issue and said that they are working to resolve it. However, they did not provide any ETA for the fix.
Update 4 (August 24, 2022)
07:14 pm (IST): TalkTalk support on Twitter has confirmed that the issue with their email service has now been resolved.
