Sling TV has gone down for all users and there have been a bunch of complaints doing rounds on social media. The outage had reportedly begun over 8 hours ago and has still not been addressed.
And it’s not just the streaming service that’s down as there are also several complaining that they’re unable to make changes to their subscription as the sling.com site is down as well.
Upon visiting the site, all you get is a page devoid of any data other than the header and footer, regardless of what browser is used. The sign-in page may also throw a 12-47 error.
A visit to the Sling TV status website does indeed confirm that the service is experiencing an outage and that both the service and website are down.
If you are one of the users affected by the downtime, then you will be relieved to know that the issue is a known one and that Sling TV has already given out an acknowledgment.
Yep, as clear from the above, the services are experiencing “technical issues” but the dev team is already working on a resolution.
Being a server-side issue means that there’s little to nothing that can be done from your end to resolve the issue so all you got to do now is to wait for Sling TV to sort this mess out.

05:40 pm (IST): Sling TV is again down or not working for many users and those affected have taken to Twitter to raise their complaints. Moreover, fresh user reports on Downdetector also suggests the same.
Update 2 (May 6, 2022)
06:54 pm (IST): A report on Downdetector now suggests that the recent outage with Sling TV has now been resolved.
Update 3 (August 9, 2022)
08:35 pm (IST): Sling TV users were troubled for hours as the service was not working and throwing the 9-400 error code. We’ve shared some reports below for reference:
Luckily, at the time of this update, it seems like the issue has been resolved for a majority of users, if not all.
Update 4 (November 8, 2022)
08:33 am (IST): Multiple Sling TV user reports point to a new outage in the service (1, 2).
The Sling TV team is already aware of the issue and working to get everything back to normal, but there is no ETA yet.
04:59 pm (IST): Sling TV support team confirmed that the recent outage has been resolved, so users should now be able to enjoy the service without any issues.

12:08 pm (IST): Multiple fresh reports (1, 2, 3) on Twitter suggest that Sling TV is currently down or not working for a section of users.
07:05 pm (IST): The recent outage with Sling TV appears to have been resolved as we haven’t come across any fresh reports concerning the same.
