Original story (from May 26) follows:
OnePlus has been known for sticking to builds that are as close to Stock Android as possible. Early OnePlus devices ran on CyanogenOS, an aftermarket firmware based on AOSP. Today, OxygenOS is arguably one of the best Android skins. Its latest iteration, OxygenOS 10 is no different.
No wonder developers are porting builds of OxygenOS onto other devices, just to bring the look and feel of this operating system to more devices. Today OnePlus is rolling out OxygenOS 10 to two of its devices, its 2017 devices, the OPnePlus 5 and the OnePlus 5T.
To recall, we have heard a lot about this Android 10-based build of OxygenOS for the OnePlus 5 and 5T. The Beta program for this build kick-started back in April and users have since been treated to the first, second and third beta builds before this official rollout.
This official build was expected sometime in mid-May or June-end. This is therefore right within the company’s projected release date. So what does this build of OxygenOS 10 for the OnePlus 5 and 5T bring to the table? Well, below is the update’s changelog.
The update has already started rolling out to eligible devices and as such, should be hitting devices shortly. If you own a OnePlus 5 or 5T, chances are you’ve been eagerly awaiting this build of Android 10. You therefore, might want to check for updates on your device.
We shall keep an eye on this story and update as, and when we start getting user feedback on this build of Android 10 for both the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T.
