Here’s the crux of the article in video form:
New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on September 30, 2021) follows:
Developed by New World Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive, the Insurgency: Sandstorm is a tactical FPS video game that was initially released in December 2018.
This video game was released as a sequel to the original ‘Insurgency’ launched back in 2014. It was just recently made available on PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One gaming consoles.
Besides, Insurgency: Sandstorm can also be played on platforms such as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, Linux, Microsoft Windows, and Classic Mac OS.
Since the video game was launched on two new gaming consoles – PS4 and Xbox One, the players are reporting crashing issues on Xbox PlayStation, and PC platforms. Multiple reports [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6] suggest that this problem is widespread.
Basically, the video game keeps crashing when the gamers are trying to enter the game. For some, it is crashing multiple times in the gameplay, while for others this issue is haunting occasionally.
This issue is bothering gamers on PlayStation, Xbox, or PC and it varies from player to player. Not all gamers are having the exact same issue, but in all cases, the video game keeps crashing or freezing.
The PC users have also reported that these problems are happening after they installed the latest update.
Fortunately, the company is well aware of these annoying problems and is actively looking into them. However, there is no ETA provided at the moment as to when this crashing issue will be fixed.
The officials stated that there could be issues such as game-breaking crashes, loss of audio and textures, progression bugs, etc. And all of these are under investigation.
Meanwhile, some users have also found a temporary workaround that could help you get back to the game without crashing. As per reports, changing the screen resolution to 1080p fixes the glitch.
If you are also frustrated with this crashing problem then you must try the aforementioned workaround as a temporary solution. Otherwise, wait for the permanent fix from the company side.
We hope that the company fixes them as soon as possible and the players can once again enjoy the game. We will keep you updated on the further development of the story as we receive something new, till then stay tuned.
