Original story (published on September 06, 2022) follows:
The hotel industry is one of the busiest in the world. Although there was a hiatus for some time due to COVID-19, the hotel business activities have already been fully restored.
IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) is a popular hotel chain. Many hotel chains often offer additional benefits to their most loyal clients to keep hold of them, and IHG is no exception.
IHG One Rewards is the loyalty program through which the hotel chain offers rewards and benefits to its most constant users. These benefits may include discounts, additional services, priority booking and more.
Customers can access their benefits either through the IHG website or through a mobile app. However, currently many are unable to check their IHG One Rewards accounts as both the app and the website are not working or down.
IHG One app and website not working or down
Social platforms like Twitter are full of reports related to the matter. Many IHG One users are expressing their frustration with not being able to check their accounts and benefits.
It appears that the problem has been present for at least 36 hours. So, users have been unable to use their benefits to schedule a reservation for all that time.

Issue under investigation
Fortunately, the IHG team is already aware of the issue and working to resolve it. However, there is still no timeframe for when all services will be restored.
We will be monitoring the situation to update this story with new relevant events as they arise.
