FIFA 22, the latest installment in Electronic Arts football simulation franchise, offers multiple game modes, both single-player and online.
Millions of gamers worldwide play FIFA 22 matches online every day. However, there are still many others who continue to enjoy the classic single-player modes.
In FIFA 22, players can enjoy Single Player Draft matches. Draft matches offer rewards based on the wins you get.
However, currently many FIFA 22 players are facing an issue where they are unable to play or are getting kicked out of Single Player Draft matches (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11).
Many FIFA 22 players are unable to play Single Player Draft matches
According to multiple reports, currently the ‘Single Player Draft’ mode is not accessible to many players. Apparently, they just get a message indicating a server error when trying to do so.
More recently, the error message players receive is ‘There was a problem communicating with the FIFA Ultimate Team servers. Please try again later’.
Also, players are unable to forfeit the match, which causes them to get stuck.
Although the Single Player Draft matches are a ‘solo-mode’, it needs an internet connection. This is because EA servers will determine what rewards players get.
I tried using a different Xbox and that didn’t help. I can play squad battles and get into any other mode. I can’t forfeit the game, so I’m suck in this glitched state. Source
EA team is working on a fix
The EA team is already aware of the issue in question and is working on a fix. But, there are no details on an ETA for it yet.

Update 1 (May 23)
05:14 pm (IST): Although EA support has previously said that a fix for this issue is coming soon, they now say that the team is still investigating it. Also, they did not provide any ETA for the fix.
Update 2 (May 24)
03:24 pm (IST): Some users are now reporting (1, 2, 3) that this issue mostly occurs after finishing the second game of the Single Player Draft matches.
Update 3 (May 26)
12:18 pm (IST): Some players are now reporting that FIFA 22 Single Player Ultimate Drafts mode is not working for them and they can’t access it.
Fortunately, the support team has acknowledged the issue and they are investigating it. However, they did not provide any ETA for the same.
