Developed and published by the now Sony-owned gaming studio – Bungie, Destiny 2 is one of the most popular and played games on Steam. The online multiplayer title allows players to engage in both PvE and PvP combat.

And with the recent addition of The Witch Queen expansion pack, it looks like the developers have already planned two more DLCs called Lightfall and The Final Shape.

But these frequent content updates often lead to bugs and glitches that sometimes make the game unplayable. That said, it looks like the Iron Banner challenges are not showing up for some Destiny 2 players. (1,2,3,4,5)

Many say they were able to see the challenges initially but soon they disappeared into thin air. Players are frustrated since they are unable to complete the forging iron quest.

As it turns out, the Destiny 2 Iron Banner challenges are not bugged but disappear when the player completes them. If you happen to complete the day’s challenge, it will not show up until the day is over.

We hope this clarifies all your confusion as to why the Iron Banner challenges were disappearing or not showing up for some.

Update 1 (July 18)

10:13 am (IST): A Redditor has suggested that players should make sure that their character needs to be on at least ‘1510 base light’ to be able to complete the challenge.

Update 2 (July 19)

12:10 pm (IST): Some players are now reporting (1, 2, 3, 4) an issue with Iron Banner challenges in Destiny 2 where some challenges are stuck at 3/4 and not progressing any further.

Unfortunately, the support team hasn’t yet acknowledged the issue.
