Just in case you’re trying to get your head around why Binance isn’t working for you, find solace in the fact that you aren’t the only one facing issues lately.

A quick look at the micro-blogging site Twitter conveys there are many others affected by the same issue. As per reports, looks like the service is down due to maintenance.

For a quick glance, here’s how some of the complainants word the problem:

Down detector – a popular service that gives information about live outages – also conveys that Binance is indeed going through a glitch in the US, as can be seen in the image below:

What’s good is that Binance US announced an 8-hour maintenance a few days back, and a few hours back confirmed it as well. Here’s what they said:

We have resumed crypto and fiat deposits and withdrawals, as well as trading and One-Click Buy/Sell. Thank you for your patience during the maintenance period.

Update 3 (June 23)

In case you aren’t able to deposit or withdraw Etherium and Binance Smart Chain, you should know that the company is currently performing wallet maintenance for the two. This maintenance period will go on for a couple of hours according to an official announcement.

Update 4 (August 13)

08:39 am (IST): A fresh flood of reports on Twitter indicate that Binance is once again down and not working as users aren’t able to sell or purchase on the app.

Update 5 (September 29)

01:13 pm (IST): Fresh reports on Twitter suggest that Binance is currently down and not working for many. Fortunately, this seems to be a planned maintainance as confirmed by Binance on Twitter.
