In coming is a service outage alert!
Is Sky broadband down and cable down or not working for you? Please be informed that the service is going through signal interruption in certain areas, and a lot of users are complaining about this across micro-blogging site Twitter.
A quick look at Down detector – a service that gives a realtime overview of outages and other issues – reflects Sky is encountering a glitch in some regions as can be seen in live outage map below.
Coming to whether there’s an official word on the matter as yet, while reverting back to some users @SKYserves acknowledged that some areas are encountering signal interruptions, and added there’s no ETA for how long would it take to fix things up.
In addition, @SKYserves also shared (through their Facebook page) a list of areas that are affected (as can be seen below).
Not only that, they have also confirmed plant repair in some areas.

A mass outage on the Sky broadband network has prompted a slew of complaints on social media from internet users across the UK.

A Sky Broadband outage is causing a domino effect in which many high-profile banks are also reporting issues with their services. Customers of Banks like TSB, NatWest, Santander, and more are facing issues accessing their online banking and mobile banking services.
Now, Sky Help Team says it is aware of this issue and is working on it on priority.

Update 5 (September 16, 2021)
As per recent reports, the Sky internet services are once again not working for multiple users in Scotland. However, the outage has been acknowledged by Sky Help Team and a fix is being looked into.

Many Sky internet users have taken to Twitter to report that they aren’t able to use the internet due to an outage.
Luckily, the company seems to be aware of the outage but there’s no ETA for a fix.

Fresh reports on Twitter and Downdetector suggest that Sky Broadband service is currently experiencing an outage.

04:50 pm (IST): Some Sky broadband users are facing issues (1, 2, 3) with their internet connections as it suddenly stopped working.
Luckily, the company appears to be aware of the situation as the support team confirmed they are working on a fix. Here’s what they say:

06:19 pm (IST): Even though it has been a day since the outage began, the company’s support team still maintains that they are working on a fix but there’s no ETA.

01:50 pm (IST): According to reports on Twitter and Downdetector, Sky internet is currently down or not working for many subscribers.
06:48 pm (IST): The recent outage with Sky internet appears to have been resolved as we haven’t come across any fresh reports.
