It’s been almost a complete day since users of Microsoft’s Xbox gaming console have been reporting issues.

Around 12 hours back, reports erupted about the Xbox error code 0x87dd0006 sign in problem, which took a significant time to get resolved. Although Microsoft was quick to provide updates on the matter.

But now, we’re again seeing reports of similar problem on social media. Take a look:

Microsoft has again offered a quick update, saying they are aware of this re-occurrence of the problem, and are working to fix it.

Update 3 (May 15)

Looks like the Xbox services have again gone down. We’re seeing a lot of user reports about this new outage. You can check out the reports here.

It’s worth mentioning that Microsoft is already looking into an Xbox related issue. Here’s how team Xbox explained it on Twitter a few hours ago:

At the moment, we’re not sure if this ongoing outage is related to the above mentioned problem in any way. Anyway, we’re keeping an active tab on the situation, and will provide more updates related to this outage as and when we notice something newsworthy. There seems to be a new Xbox outage at the moment. A lot of users on social media platforms (like Twitter) are complaining about not being able to access Xbox Live services, suggesting the Xbox servers may be down at the moment.

Update 5 (July 11)

It has now been revealed that the Xbox Live Core Services (Signing in; creating, managing, or recovering an account; search) are down at the moment. Microsoft says they are looking into the matter.

Some users are now reporting the problem is fixed for them, meaning the servers may be coming back up gradually.

Update 2 (August 18, 2021)

09:05 am (IST): Xbox users have stormed Twitter and other social media platforms to seek help as the service is once again down and not working. Downdetector also shows a major spike in the number of reports from users indicating that Xbox Live is down.

Apart from that, Xbox has indeed acknowledged the issues and has updated the official status page indicating that there are issues with the Store and Subscriptions, Games and gaming, as well as Cloud gaming.

01:05 pm (IST): Xbox support confirmed that users should now be able to launch content once again.

Update 3 (October 20, 2021)

05:05 pm (IST): Fresh reports on Downdetector indicate that Xbox Live is down. However, there’s no indication of a widespread outage yet on the official Xbox status page.

Update 4 (January 15, 2022)

08:57 am (IST): It appears that many users are facing issues with the Xbox live service as reports indicating an outage have begun popping up on Twitter and outage tracking sites such as Downdetector.

01:09 pm (IST): Recent reports on Twitter suggest that many users are currently facing issues with the Xbox Live. Users say that they are getting ‘0x87DD0003 error’ when trying to sign in to Xbox Live.

Update 06 (May 07, 2022)

08:30 am (IST): Xbox cloud gaming and remote play services are currently down and not working. The Xbox team has acknowledged the problem and it’s currently under investigation.

01:25 pm (IST): Many players are facing issues with launching games and starting Cloud Gaming sessions. The support team said that they are currently investigating it, however, they did not provide any ETA for the fix.

06:01 pm (IST): Xbox support has confirmed that the issue with their Cloud Gaming services has been resolved.

However, the team is still investigating the issue where users are having trouble accessing media streaming apps such as Netflix or Disney+.

Update 07 (June 13, 2022)

08:43 am (IST): Many users are reporting that Xbox Live is down and not working. The company has acknowledged the problem on its status page and a fix is in the works.

07:10 pm (IST): According to reports on Downdetector, the recent outage with Xbox Live has now been resolved.

10:50 am (IST): According to fresh user reports on Twitter and Downdetector, Xbox Live is currently down or not working for many.

Update 09 (Sept. 20, 2022)

10:58 am (IST): The recent outage with Xbox Live appears to have resolved as we haven’t come across any fresh reports on Downdetector.

Update 10 (Nov. 2, 2022)

11:03 am (IST): It seems that some users (1,2,3) are facing an issue where no app or game is loading on Xbox Live. Fortunately, Microsoft is aware of the issue.

Update 11 (Nov. 3, 2022)

09:49 am (IST): Many Xbox Live players are again reporting that the service is currently down or not working for them. Moreover, the spike in number of reports on Downdetector also conveys the same.

06:10 pm (IST): It seems that the recent Xbox Live outage has been resolved as there are no fresh reports about the same.

Update 12 (Dec. 6, 2022)

08:34 am (IST): Xbox Live platform is experiencing a partial outage at this moment. Downdetector and the Xbox Live Status page reflect the problem (1, 2).
