Looks like communications service provider EE’s network is having issues as a lot of users are complaining. Affected ones are taking to social media platforms like Twitter to share the problems they are experiencing.

Specifically, the phone/mobile network seems to be down. For its part, the company’s social media teams are trying to debug individual complaints.
However, switching off and on isn’t making any difference for many users. Here’s what a user said:
Another users said they confirmed with EE business support team that it is nationwide outage.
So far, no statement or official word has apparently been issued on the matter. However, according to The Sun, EE is actively looking into the matter.

Looks like EE is down as of writing this. The outage service down detector also reflects something similar (as can be seen in the image below).

04:31 pm (IST): A plethora of reports on Twitter and Downdetector indicate that EE is currently down or not working for many subscribers.
07:47 pm (IST): According to reports on Downdetector, the recent outage with EE has now been resolved.
Update 5 (December 19, 2022)
04:01 pm (IST): It appears that the EE phone network is currently down or not working as users are reporting that they aren’t able to make calls. Moreover, reports on Downdetector also convey the same.
07:30 pm (IST): It seems that the recent outage with EE phone network has now been resolved as we haven’t come across any fresh reports.
