Just in case you’re trying to get your head around why Uplay isn’t working for you, find solace in the fact that you aren’t the only one facing issues lately. For quick reminder, few hours back Ubisoft officially acknowledged a connectivity issue with Uplay PC, and in some time called the same as fixed.
But looks like despite calling the problem being fixed, users are still facing connection issues and say they aren’t able to login or sign in. Here are some reports from Twitter for you to take a quick glance:
Users get to see a screen similar to the following one stating “Connection lost: A Ubisoft service is currently unavailable. Please try again later“:
As per Down detector – the service that gives information about outages – Uplay is indeed encountering issues in some areas as can be seen in the following live service outage map:
There is yet to come an official confirmation from Ubisoft about Uplay’s connection lost glitch. We are keeping a continuous tab on all related developments, and will continuously update this page with relevant cenyerinfo.

The issue has now been resolved.

Users are facing a similar issue today.

Uplay PC connectivity issues have been acknowledged by Ubisoft support.
Update 5 (Nov 26)
Maintenance has been scheduled for Uplay for today. So users may experience connection issues at the time of maintenance.
? We will be performing a maintenance on #Uplay from 3:00 AM EDT / 8:00 AM UTC.
? Issues to connect to Uplay and/or disconnections from Ubisoft games might happen during the maintenance.
? Expected downtime : 15 mins.
Update (October 15, 2021)
11:00 am (IST): Now, a section of Ubisoft connect users report that the service is down and not working.
Downdetector is also seeing a bunch of new reports, just as Twitter and Reddit are. We shall continue to keep an eye on this and update with new info as and when we get it.
Update (March 03, 2022)
11:00 am (IST): Many users are now reporting that Ubisoft servers are down and as a result, they are unable to access Ubisoft Connect.
This has also affected all the Ubisoft games including Rainbow Six Siege and Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
Fortunately, Ubisoft has acknowledged this issue and said that their teams are currently investigating it.
Update (March 04, 2022)
10:48 am (IST): Ubisoft Support on Twitter has confirmed that they have resolved the issues affecting their services and multiple games. This means that users will now be able to access Ubisoft Connect as usual.
Update (May 19, 2022)
01:24 pm (IST): Many users have taken to Twitter to report that Ubisoft Uplay is down or not working for them. Moreover, reports on Downdetector also convey the same.
Update (May 20, 2022)
06:25 pm (IST): It seems that the recent outage with Ubisoft Uplay has been resolved as we haven’t come across any fresh user reports on Downdetector.
Update (July 6, 2022)
09:05 am (IST): Fresh reports indicate that Ubisoft Connect users (Uplay) are facing issues with the service as they keep getting a ‘Connection lost’ error.
Ubisoft support is yet to acknowledge the problem.
Update (August 25, 2022)
01:36 pm (IST): Many gamers are now reporting (1, 2) that Uplay is currently down or not working for them.
07:30 pm (IST): The recent outage with Ubisoft’s Uplay has now been resolved as we haven’t come across any fresh reports on Downdetector.
