New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on April 13, 2022) follows:

Sky Glass is an intuitive television that features Sky inside, eliminating the need for satellite dishes and the SkyBox. The TV is plug and play, meaning you won’t have to spend time setting it up.

It also happens to be the first certified CarbonNeutral television. Sky Glass brings in everything from BBC iPlayer, Netflix, Disney+, ITV Hub, and more.

Some of the key features include Quantum Dot Technology, Glance Motion, and Dolby Atmos. But as is the case with service providers, some problems surface every once in a while.

That said, Sky Glass owners are reporting (1,2,3,4,5) that the ITV hub is not working with others saying they are stuck on a black screen. Many are angry and wondering why they are unable to watch their favorite programs anymore.

Users say they tried restarting their Sky Glass and reconnecting to the internet but it looks like the problem persists. Below are a few reports from Sky Glass owners for whom the ITV hub is not working at all.

Thankfully, Sky Help Team has commented on the problem and said they are aware of the issue where the ITV hub is not working for some Sky Glass owners. However, they did not share any ETA on when it will be fixed.

We hope the developers soon find out why the ITV hub is not working for some Sky Glass owners. Rest assured, we will keep track of further developments on the issue and update this space accordingly so stay tuned.

Update 1 (February 3, 2023)

05:50 pm (IST): Lack of fresh reports suggest that the recent outage with the service has now been resolved.
