The fourth season of the parental comedy Trying has been renewed by Apple TV+. It occurs before the September 2 third-season finale.
As Nikki and Jason, Smith and Spall are back.
In season 3, they awaken as new parents of two kids they are still learning about. Now all they have to do is hang onto them, which turns out to be more difficult than they anticipated. As they struggle to negotiate the ups and downs of parenting while clinging to their children and their sanity, Nikki and Jason’s relationships with one another and their loved ones are put to the test.
Oliver Chris, Sian Brooke, Darren Boyd, and Robyn Cara are also involved in the case.
It is only the third written Apple original series to continue into a fourth season. Mythic Quest, a comedy, is the third after For All Mankind, a drama.
Josh Cole and Jim O’Hanlon both served as executive producers on the film Trying, which has been created, written, and directed by Andy Wolton. BBC Studios is the producer.
