New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on October 11, 2022) follows:

Overwatch 2 is the successor to the incredibly popular team-based multiplayer first-person shooter by Blizzard Entertainment.

The original Overwatch was released in 2016 and quickly took the gaming world by storm due to its fun and unique gameplay.

However, if you’ve ever played the original Overwatch, you know how unbalanced and chaotic a regular match could be at times.

This incredibly unbalanced nature of the game and its rapidly falling player base in a way forced Blizzard to release Overwatch 2 with a lot of new content and some gameplay fixes and changes.

While many believe it to just be a re-skin of the previous game, the majority of the player base actually responded positively to these changes.

However, there is a feature that fans of the original Overwatch have been missing in its successor.

Missing Overwatch 2 post-game voting cards

Many Overwatch 2 players have been asking the developers to bring back the post-game ‘voting cards’.

Post-game ‘voting cards’ were basically a part of a voting system that ranked players based on their performance during a particular match.

These cards appeared at the end of each game in Overwatch and asked all 12 players (including both teams) to vote for the best performers.

This feature acted as a fun community element and helped recognize players who otherwise might have been ignored due to unfavorable stats.

This was not just limited to the winning team. Even the best performers from the losing team got the opportunity to be ranked.

Honestly, the post-game voting cards added some positivity to the otherwise toxic and aggressive nature of the game.

We would like to know your opinion on this matter. As for the poll below, the results will be shared after a week.
