This story is being continuously updated…. New updates are being added at the bottom…..

Original story (from June 27) follows:

During the past few hours, we’ve see a lot of Realme and OPPO users flooding the official communities with complaints about the “No network connection” error while checking for updates. All they get to see is the error instead of the latest available update package (as can be seen in the image below).

What’s good is that while addressing the escalating number of users queries, Realme and Oppo community moderators recently came up with the announcement posts conveying the OTA update servers are down for maintenance because of which users who are checking for new updates are getting the error.

Here’s what Realme’s announcement post acknowledging the problem says:

And something similar has been posted in the OPPO community’s announcement section, with an added information that the problem affects all the regions (outside of mainland China):

What’s relieving is that both the announcement clearly state this issue will exist for another couple of days as the maintenance will carry on till then. The updates, like usual, will get detected automatically once the maintenance gets completed.

So those of you getting the “No network connection” error, try checking for the updates on your Realme and Oppo devices after a couple of days, as the maintenance should be sorted by then. In case it gets extended, we’ll update this section. That’s all for now.

Update 1 (June 27)

The maintenance is now over.
