It is interesting to note that many of those affected are using Xfinity Internet and TV services. Common troubleshooting solutions like restarting the device and reinstalling the app aren’t helping either.
However, there is no timeframe of when the problem will be resolved.

Update 1 (July 19)
12:31 pm (IST): One of those affected reported that the issue with ‘error code 2055’ has now been resolved. Also, we haven’t come across any fresh reports regarding it.
