Gangubai Kathiyawadi upcoming Indian Hindi biography crime drama film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and produced by Jayanti Lal Gada and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film star Alia Bhatt while Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Indra Tiwari and Seema Pahwa a pivotal role, Ajay Devgan feature in an extended cameo appearance. The narrative walks through the life of young Ganga who in no time marks her own territory and became Gangubai- a madam in the red light area of Kamathipura.
The film is loosely based on a true story, on the book Mafia Queens of Bombay written by S Hussain Zaidi. The film that despite the trees of the simple girl from Kathiawad who had no choice but to embrace the ways of destiny and swing in her favour.

Every scene is ruled by Alia Bhatt and I am not saying that she is overshadowing the other character, her character is so powerful that it looks on the screen, we can say that she is a woman on top.
