But according to recent reports from Echo Show 5 users, it looks like Alexa Guard is not working. Many are frustrated since Alexa Guard is a paid service and is one of the reasons why they bought the device in the first place.
Generic solutions such as reinstalling the app and resetting the devices seem to make no difference. You can see in the image below the message users see on their Echo Show 5 when trying to enable Alexa Guard.
Users are seemingly frustrated since the issue has been affecting them for a couple of months now. We hope the developers soon find out the root cause of the problem and fix it as soon as possible.
