Now that Extraordinary Attorney Woo is nearing its end this week, Alchemy of Souls can take its deserved spot at the top of the K-drama industry.
The popular show, which airs 2 episodes a week on Netflix, has earned significantly high ratings from both domestic South Korean fans and fans abroad.
After a momentary quality control break, Alchemy of Souls resumed this weekend. With only 3 episodes left, viewers were thrilled to learn that season 2 has already been approved and is even in the production phase.
Last week, Alchemy of Souls took a sudden break, and both domestic South Korean viewers and viewers overseas on Netflix had to wait patiently for episode 17.
According to a declaration from the production line issued through Soompi, the goal was “to improve the standard of completion for the second partner.”
Fortunately, the popular K-drama made a comeback earlier today, August 20, for its 17th episode. Episode 18 will air tomorrow, August 21, as planned.
After tomorrow’s broadcast, the Korean show will only have one week left before the final season, but there are already some fantastic developments for season 2!
Alchemy of Souls Season 2: Confirmed
Alchemy of Souls would be aired in two segments, with season 1 having 20 episodes and season 2 having 10 episodes, according to a June 14th report.
Director Park Joon-Hwa was cited as saying “When writing the script for the first time, there are various stories, the narrative is interesting, and there are sharp conflicts and various stories about relationships and stories about each family. I didn’t have time to do fun with the tiki-taka.”
According to reports, the second part of the K-drama Alchemy of Souls began shooting in early July, but it is uncertain when it will wrap.
