Way before the release of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming action-adventure drama film “Ram Setu” , it has entered controversies. On Friday, July 29th, BJP leader Subramaniam Swamy, took to twitter and announced that he is all set to sue the actor and the makers of the film for “falsification in the portrayal of the Ram Setu issue”, seeking compensation for the makers.

He tweeted “The suit for compensation has been finalized by my associate Satya Sabharwal Adv. I am suing Akshay Kumar, actor & Karma Media for damages cause by falsification in portrayal of the Ram Setu issue in their film for release.”

Ram Setu is a film, starring Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrrart Bharuccha and Satya Dev. The film follows an archeologist investigating the nature of Ram Setu, to check out if Ram Setu is real or myth.

According to the epic Ramayana, Ram Setu is a bridge built by the deity Rama’s army of Vanara to invade Lanka and rescue his wife Sita, who was abducted by Lanka’s Rakshasa monarch Ravana (7th century BCE to 3rd century CE).
