Akshay Kumar took to his Twitter handle to share the teaser of his upcoming movie ‘Selfiee’. In the teaser Akshay Kumar is seen playing lap steel guitar, a musical instrument. He is then joined by Emraan Hashmi who is seen driving a motorcycle, as he enters he asks for selfie to Akshay Kumar and then they both start dancing together on the song.

The film is directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Selfiee is the Hindi remake of 2019 Malayalam film Driving License, directed by Lal Jr, which featured Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Magic Frames are marking their Hindi cinema debut with this story; Cape of Good Films will co-produce Selfiee. The movie is set to hit the cinemas in 2022.
The plot of Driving Licence follows the story of a cop and a superstar. The cop is a fan of the star, however the two end up at disagreement when the superstar denies taking a picture with the cop and his family.
