Few roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been more sought after than Reed Richards, the linchpin of Marvel’s First Family. With Marvel Studios actively developing a Fantastic Four film, which may or may not be directed by WandaVision helmer Matt Shakman, the Kevin Feige-led outfit has been scouring a wide array of actors for the next Richards role.
While John Krasinski played the character Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it appears he will not be reprising his role. According to recent rumors, Penn Badgley, star of Netflix’s You, is one of the finalists for the role—and social media is buzzing about it.

Penn Badgley would be perfect for Reed Richards because we’ve already seen him play a loving father and a totally in-love romantic pic.twitter.com/yOEeUYdis6
