The tennis player’s wife, who wore loose-fitting apparel and a face mask to the Champion’s League final in Paris last May, where her 36-year-old husband won his 22nd Grand Slam championship, sparked pregnancy rumours. Perello, 33, was spotted on a yacht in Majorca earlier this week with what appeared to be a pregnancy bump, fueling speculation.
The pregnancy announcement has yet to be confirmed by the Spanish couple.
Nadal and Perello have been dating since they were teenagers, for 17 years. On the villa of La Fortaleza in Majorca, the couple married in October 2019.
The tennis champion previously revealed his intentions to start a family, telling Hola! in March 2018 that “obviously, I intend and want to form a family.”“I love children and I would like them to do what they want in life.’”
On June 5, Nadal won his 14th French Open, giving him a total of 22 grand slam wins, two more than rivals Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer.
The tennis player is predicted to win again in Wimbledon 2022, which starts on June 27.
