Golden fix for all the minor bug related issues including app glitches and UI problems. Restarting your iPhone will give the phone’s UI and applications a fresh start fixing all the minor bugs and issues. All the iPhones have a different key combination to force restart, consider the image below to proceed.

Hold the respective buttons for 3-4 seconds till you see the Apple logo. Wait for the device to completely restart and check if the alarms are working properly.

  • Check volume

There might be a possibility that the volume of the phone might have been reduced due to accidental button presses or swipes on the control panel. Try pressing the volume up key and see if the ringer volume is full, you can also swipe up to open the control panel and increase it from there. Alternatively head to Setting>Sounds and check if the volume is full.

There is a possibility that due to some bug the alarm tone has been set to none, which will cause an issue as the iPhone won’t ring at all. Head to the clock application and tap on the alarm press edit alarm and then under the sound section change the alarm tone.

  • Check  the Sleep mode

If you use Sleep/Wake up mode on your iPhone, it can reset its alarm as well. There can be a possibility because of this the particular alarm is not ringing. Head to the Clock application and under the Alarms tab. Under the Sleep/Wake Up tab check for the alarm and press change and increase the volume to max.

  • Attention Aware

If you are running an iPhone X or later there is a feature called attention awareness that lowers down the brightness and sound of your phone if the user is holding it. This feature is great when in public, but some users reported that it is creating issues with the alarm system, causing problems of alarm volume high or low. To fix it head to Settings>Face ID & Passcode and turn off Attention Aware Features.

If you are using some third-party application for alarms. Consider uninstalling them and checking if the problem persists on your iPhone.

  • Delete alarm

There might be a possibility that a bug got triggered while creating an alarm and persisted for others as well. In such a case, we advise you to delete all the alarms and give the application a fresh start.

Check for system updates. There are often times that Apple sends updates with bug fixes and that might help you on the way. Also, if alarms are very important to you try resetting the entire iPhone after backing up all the data. This will make your iPhone start from ground zero and without glitches.
