Harrison Ford made the leap from the big screen to television by appearing in the western series 1923. The cast is filled with superstars like Helen Mirren and the GOT fame Jerome Flynn is also part of it.
The first episode aired on December 18, 2022, and the anticipation around it was massive. However, some viewers are disappointed as they are unable to watch it.
According to some, 1923 is not showing or unavailable on the Paramount Plus platform (1,2,3,4,5).
When impacted subscribers try to watch the first episode of 1923, they only see the trailer or a bonus video. The episode is either missing or not available at all.
This is very odd as 1923 is a Paramount Plus exclusive series that is a prequel to its’ massively popular show Yellowstone.
This issue has made subscribers anxious as they are unable to watch the show no matter how many times they try.
This has led to such extreme circumstances that some Prime users have canceled their subscriptions or are on the cusp of it (1,2).
We hope that the episode will be made available as soon as possible so that 1923 fans can continue to enjoy the series.

04:56 pm (IST): Although many viewers were unable to see the show premiere, that didn’t stop it from smashing the current Paramount+ viewership record.
The premiere reportedly achieved around 7.4 million total viewers, being 80% above the previous audience record on the platform.
Update 2 (Jan. 16, 2023)
11:44 pm (IST): Some Paramount+ users report a delay in the availability of the 1923 latest episode (1, 2, 3, 4).
They feel that the delay is a strategy to force users to extend their subscriptions while the new episodes of the show arrive.
Update 3 (Jan. 17, 2023)
06:10 pm (IST): Responding to a user’s complaint regarding 1923’s availability, Paramount+ support has informed that the show is currently on hiatus and will be returning on Monday, February 6 in Australia.
Update 4 (Jan. 18, 2023)
01:30 pm (IST): Tanc Sade, an actor from the show 1923, confirmed that the next episode will be aired on February 5 in the United States. Australian viewers will get it on Monday, February 6 (time zone difference).
